Full Member

Eligible to apply are persons, both Cypriots and foreigners, who are older than 21 years old. Furthermore :

  • The applicant must hold at least a BSc Degree in Computer Science or a BSc Degree in another field which is Combined with Computer Science, or a BSc Degree in Computer/Hardware Engineering or Information Systems or a Computing related field OR 
  • Hold a Bachelor Degree or a HND diploma, in specializations other than the ones mentioned above and in addition : they have at least 3 years job experience in Systems Analysis/Design/Programming, or in Hardware Engineering, or in Management in Data Processing area, OR
  • They have 6 years job experience in areas mentioned in the previous paragraphs. The applicant persons that hold any other qualifications and abilities that are not discussed above, they will be considered by the CCS Board on an individual application basis.
  • Full Members can both elect and get elected in the CCS Board.

Annual Subscriptions: £12.00 CYP

Associate Member

  • Eligible to apply are University graduates that do not hold a degree in Computing as specified above and have an interest or proven experience in IT and Computing.
  • Associate Members can only vote and elect other members in the CCS Board.

  • Annual Subscriptions: £6.00 CYP

    Student Member

  • Eligible to apply are persons studying Computer Science or Computer Engineering or MIS or any other Computing related field at Colleges or Universities in Cyprus or abroad.
  • Proof of the applicant's current college/universtiy status and registration is required so that student membership can be granted.
  • Student Members can participate in all activities of the CCS but they do not have any voting or election rights.

  • Annual Subscriptions: £3.00 CYP

    Honorary Member

  • In recognition of a person's contribution to the advancement of IT and Computing in Cyprus, or in recognition of a person's contribution to the CCS, the CCS Board may exercise its authority and designate an IT Professional or non-IT Professional as Honorary Member.
  • Honorary Members can participate in all activities of the CCS but they do not have any voting or election rights.

  • No Subscription Fees
