Professional IT Training

Introduction

The Cyprus Computer Society is organising a series of training programmes of high level and quality targeted to I.T professionals, managers , business analysts, supervisors and other suitable personnel both in the private and public sectors.

Subsidisation & Course Fees

The course fee includes the HRDA Subsidisation plus the Extra Cost per Person as indicated on the timetable.

Some of the courses have been approved and are subsidised fully or partially by the Human Resources Development Authority (ex - ITA). Due to the high cost of each course, and in order to make the delivery of the courses possible, the Cyprus Computer Society Board has decided to charge an additional fee to be paid directly by organisations to the Cyprus Computer Society and is shown below along with the programmes timetable.

NOTE: In the case that an organization is not entitled for subsidisation by the Human Resources Development Authority, the total cost has to be paid directly by the organization.

CCS Members Discounts

All CCS Members attending any course are entitled to a 10% discount on the course fees. If you are a CCS Member attending a course, please declare your membership number at the time of registration.

Company Discounts

Companies registering more than four (4) persons in a single course are entitled to a 10% discount on the fees of the course.

Instructors

The CCS does not employ its own instructors but it uses freelancers from the industry to deliver the courses.

Following discussions with and recommendations made by local organizations and CCS Member, the CCS Board has taken the decision to co-operate with Cypriot consultants, where possible, in delivering training courses where local expertise exists; thus taking advantage of their expertise, skills and knowledge.

All Project Management courses will be delivered in association with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

All other courses will be delivered by foreign instructors mainly coming from the United Kingdom.

All instructors are fully qualified; holding University degrees; professional certifications and having a wide range of experience in the IT field and in the specific area of the training courses.
